Ever since the release of the long-awaited Hello Kitty™ Online, many people wondered why the multiplayer part of that game was quite not on par with then-modern MMO standards. We didn't know that either, so like with GTA games we loved and worked on in the past, such as GTA3, Vice City or San Andreas, we have decided to give it an MTA treatment. We have decided to bring some light to your life, so now we are proud to announce...
... Multi Theft Auto: Orange !
(why orange? because we love oranges! and kittys, and unicorns, and... oh wait.)
Since it has lots in common with our previous creations (like, um, this feature and that font), we have decided to keep the name, as we are the ones making it. What, you would want to see HK:MP? Damn you...
Here is the brief list of some of its features:
- supports over 9000 players per world
- customisable chatbox
- epic main menu and credits scenes
- p2p networking (dedicated servers suck!)
- various automatic translators to cater international communities (German <-> English, French <-> English, Chinese <-> Engrish, 1337-5|>34|< <-> 011000100110100101101110011000010111001001111001, Ewok <-> Klingon, Xbox fanboy english <-> Playstation fanboy english and more!)
- integrated (anti)social networking site, to ensure the proper levels of rage
- achievements system, with lots to achieve (eg. Roadkill - run over 20 kittys in a single run)
- Forced integration with MTA Gaming Social Club (which starts with windows), so we can keep track of all your computer activity
- Includes MTA Trax, which plays the following elaborate list of modern music in a loop:
- Raffi - Bananaphone
- PAWN scripting system
The development version we have at this point is not suitable yet for a preview. Once we stop this son of a bish from crashing on every single second it's running, we will post some screenshots for you.
Expected date of a release: 21. Dec 2012
That's it, until the next time.
Oh, and MTA:SA is cancelled.
Happy April Fools Day, folks!
