Ich habe mein vServer gerade frisch aufgesetzt.
Und wollte es jetzt einrichten.
Ich lade mir wie gewohnt mariadb-server mariadb-client runten.
Nun führe ich die installation aus mit: mysql_secure_installation
So jetzt erscheint folgendes:
root@93036:~# mysql_secure_installation

SERVERS IN PRODUCTION USE! PLEASE READ EACH STEP CAREFULLY!
In order to log into MariaDB to secure it, we'll need the current
password for the root user. If you've just installed MariaDB, and
you haven't set the root password yet, the password will be blank,
so you should just press enter here.
Enter current password for root (enter for none):
Soweit alles gut.
Nun gebe in mein Wunschpasswort ein.
Folgendes erscheint.

Wie kann es sein das bei der Installation die fehlermeldung Access denied kommt??
